Dolce & Gabbana 'The One' Gold & Platinum New Fragrances

Dolce & Gabbana have launched 2 new limited editions of their famous The One fragrances for men and women. The new scents are packaged in opaque gold and platinum-like flacons (we're talking colour here, they are not actual gold and platinum).

The One Gold Limited Edition for women contains notes of bergamot and mandarin combined with lychee, peach and Madonna lily. Its base reveals oriental notes of amber, vanilla and musk. The One for Men Platinum Limited Edition contains top notes of grapefruit, coriander and basil, blended with warm tones of cardamom and ginger and the base made of tobacco and cedar.

The feminine fragrance is available as 50 ml and 75 ml Eau de Parfum, while the masculine one comes in bottles of 50 ml and 100 ml Eau de Toilette.

Now, almost every site on the internet will tell you these are identical to the original The One scents, only the packaging is different. The truth is they are not. They are similar, but not exactly the very same scent. The Gold one for women is a bit more floral and sweeter than the original.
