A 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO, custom-made for racing driver Stirling Moss, has become the world's most expensive car after being sold in a private transaction for $35 million. The apple-green Ferrari is just one of 39 GTOs produced from 1962 to 1964. The buyer is an U.S.-based classic car collector.
