Estée Lauder Introduces The Illuminating Perfecting Primer and Matte Perfecting Primer

Estée Lauder has released two new primers, Illuminating Perfecting Primer and Matte Perfecting Primer. “Every good artist knows that the key to a good foundation in every masterpiece is a skillfully primed canvas,” said Tom Pecheux, creative makeup director, Estée Lauder. “Primers are essential to a perfect canvas, giving you an even, smooth foundation application, greater pop in your color pigments, and a flawless, lasting finish.”

The Illuminating Perfecting Primer (for normal to dry skin) instantly awakens dull skin, illuminating and highlighting skin with dewiness. The hydro-gel texture immediately adds brightness, luminosity and radiance as it conditions skin so makeup looks smooth and fresh. Soft-reflection optics enhance the look of skin’s translucency and smoothes the look of pores and imperfections to create an even, supple canvas. Special hydrators and skin-soothing vitamin E, rice bran extract and shea butter nourish skin.

The Matte Perfecting Primer (for normal to oily skin) is a light-diffusing, velvety formulation that refines, mattifies and instantly creates the look of even skin tone. The gel-cream formula blots away and controls excess oil as it calms, smoothes and soothes skin, so makeup looks smooth and fresh throughout the day. Soft-vision optics minimize the appearance of pores, fine lines and imperfections to create an even canvas. Skin-calming green tea and vitamin E help rebalance and perfect skin’s texture.
