Katy Perry Officially Premieres New Single 'Part Of Me'

Part of Me is Katy Perry's new single, which she debuted at the Grammy Awards 2012, on Sunday night. The track is one of the 3 new songs included on Perry's upcoming material, a special edition album, entitled 'Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection', coming out on March, 26. It will basically be a re-issue of Katy's Teenage Dream LP, with new songs added to the mix.

Part of Me was initially recorded sometime in 2009-2010 for the original 'Teenage Dream' album, but it didn't make the final cut. The track has now been repolished and some of the original lyrics have been changed (RE: Katy's divorce from Russell Brand) and they now read:

"You can keep the diamond ring,
It don't mean nothing anyway,
In fact you can keep everything,
Except for me."
